To provide a comprehensive client service, activation and strategic support function for the car account. The incumbent will be responsible for contractual portfolios within the car account (Cheetah’s rugby and cycling/special projects) as well as the management of the project suppliers that will report into him/her.
Skills Required
- Leadership and Accountability – assumed for all projects/activations managed,
from inception to completion
- Design and implementation of activation strategies for stipulated portfolio’s
- The activation portfolio will include (but not be limited to): Toyota Cheetah’s,
Toyota Cyclelab properties and Toyota special projects
- Compilation of detailed activation plans and action plans
- Contract Management, ensuring that all projects have signed agreements with
- Assist the Senior Account Manager in the management of the project budgets
from development to reconciliation, with the oversight of the Senior Business
Director (SBD)
- Responsible for raising purchase orders, supplier input forms, physical and
electronic filing and other project administration in conjunction with the Senior
Account Manager
- Management of supplier teams at activations
- Accountability and project status– to report to the SAM/SBD and clients re the
status of the projects being managed
- Working with relevant project managers/support resources to ensure effective
implementation of events
- Manage relationships with other agencies involved on the account
- Develop and manage the relationship with key client staff
- Reporting - attending regular status meetings with the client and updating
status reports
- Interact with rights owners regarding planned activations, approvals and
- Management of all event activation elements delegated by the Senior Account
Manager – i.e. Negotiating venues for events; Event activation; Development of
briefing documents; suppliers; procurement and logistics
- Compilation of debriefs (or part thereof) as specified by the Senior Account
Manager, including relevant and available research to measure
performance against stated KPI’s
- To motivate project team members (suppliers) on an on-going basis to achieve
optimum productivity and delivery on set projects.
- To actively seek opportunities to grow the group’s business both from existing
customers as well as new clients
- Knowledge of the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Bill
- Adherence to all Policies and Procedures, e.g. Financial, HR, IT, Travel,
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing
files and records and other office procedures.
Degree/Three year diploma

Skills & Experience

•Minimum of 1 year within a similar environment and/or position
•Administration and Management -- Knowledge of principles involved in
strategic planning, project and event management, and financial management
•Imperative - Accuracy and attention to detail in execution
•Imperative - Accountability, reliability and attention to detail
•Interaction with middle and senior management and ability to handle pressure
•Excellent client service ethic
•Willingness and ability to flexible working hours and travel according to project needs
