Main Purpose
· To facilitate the study of problems and needs of the business to determine how the business system and information technology can best solve the problems and accomplish improvements for the business.

Job Objectives
· To streamline and improve the business processes through research, benchmarking and the application of formulated process modeling techniques.

· To ensure, organize and facilitate JAD sessions and document final results in order to identify business IT requirements and craft business solutions.

· To provide development and testing support to ensure sign off of user acceptance testing, pilot and production testing.

· To manage documentation to ensure an audit trail for the solution.

· To do effective administration to enable progress on projects.

Job Knowledge:
· Knowledge of a complete systems development life cycle (Essential)

· Business process (re)engineering (Essential)

· Knowledge of the travel/leisure/airline industry (Desirable)

· IT project management (Desirable)

· Business analysis standards, tools & methodologies (Essential)

· Knowledge of IT techniques (Essential)

· Proficient in MS Office and MS Visio or similar modelling tool (Essential)

Skills Required
Job Experience:
· 5 Years experience as Business Analyst (Essential)

· Experience working within the ASP.Net framework (Desirable)

· 1 – 2 years business working experience in Travel or Airline Industry (Desirable)



Education:
· BSc Computer Science or similar degree (Essential)
