| An organized, process driven Implementation Buyer is required. This position will require management and execution of the administrative tasks involved in managing end to end media buying/planning for clients. The Implementation Buyer is responsible for purchasing media space or time, as well as developing the campaign and researching how it will be most effective for the client. Their mission is to find a combination of media that will enable the marketer to communicate the message in the most effective manner possible at the minimum cost. Job includes, but is not limited to the following tasks: • Identifying the target audience for a particular media campaign and deciding how best to communicate to that audience; • Development of media plans for existing and prospective clients using Telmar. • keeping up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures (newspapers and magazines) and audience figures (TV and radio); • monitoring buying strategies; • liaising and building relationships with media sales companies; • negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces across all media platforms; • liaising with media sales people to adjust media schedules in response to audience figures; • Understands various media and their applications against Client strategies, goals • Prepares estimates, insertion orders (as requested) • Ensuring that the adverts run accurately so the desired media message is seen and heard by consumers; • client reporting and budget management, including preparing costings for clients and producing spending updates throughout the campaign; • collecting and analysing sales and consumer data; • undertaking research using a wide range of specialist media resources; • Manage all aspects of the media buying admin • Opening of Jobs • Placing orders • Assists with the monitoring and maintenance of all media projects and buying assignments • Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines • Monitors trade publications for new media trends • Assists with smaller proposal evaluations and client media plans • Collects media research data and assists in writing competitive reports |

| Skills Required | |||
| • Tertiary qualification in Media/Media Buying • Must have strong time management and organizational skills. • Must be able to quickly and accurately assess the importance of a phone call, email, or document and take appropriate action to involve the appropriate people. • Computer literate • Very strong administrative skills • Very strong inter-personal skills • High attention to detail • Ability to manage time and work under pressure • Valid Drivers license Confident Pro-active Must show initiative Emotionally intelligent Plus - advantageous:- Media buying/planning background Basic knowledge of Telmar Working knowledge of Google Adwords |
