Dynamic, established 360 degree agency with impressive client roster is looking for a New Business Development Manager to help us grow and expand our client base. The NBM will be responsible for the management and implementation of all new business plans and activities for our agency.

This position will suit an extremely ambitious, self motivated individual who wants to conquer the world, and build a career and equity stake for themselves.

The NBM job requires the candidate to undertake the following tasks and their success will be measured by the income generated by the clients they win:
_Identify and qualify appropriate prospects
_Make cold calls
_Prepare and present winning pitches and presentations
_Win new clients so as to meet Sales, Income, Margin and Client volume targets
_Manage multiple new business prospect engagements for themself and key agency executives
_Attend Industry networking events and conferences
_Initiate and manage effective relationships with selected, developed leads on an ongoing basis
_Develop and manage prospect database on an ongoing basis
_Tracking and reporting of the new business development pipeline
_Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work collaboratively with agency management and other agency teams on RFP's, tenders, meetings, presentations, etc.

In order to succeed the NBM will need an:
_Understanding of agency's value proposition, mission, culture, confidentiality, standards, etc.
_Understanding of Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations and Digital/Social Media
Skills Required
_Proven track record of helping ad agencies (or similar business) secure new business.
_Previous experience as a member of a New Business team, with a solid track record of landing new business
_An effective and proactive networker, with substantial client contacts
_Extremely strong people skills
_Ability to very effectively communicate agency capabilities and brand personality to prospects
_Proven ability to build strong client relationships
_Ability to represent the agency in a highly professional manner
_Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
_Extremely strong written, oral and presentation communication skills
_Ability to read, write, analyse and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers and cross-tabulated survey data.
_Ability to write reports, presentations and general business correspondence
_Ability to work extremely effectively both as part of team and independently
_A self motivated person who has delivered consistent revenue through strategic sales solutions
_Digital and Social Media experience required.

R15 000 basic plus benefits generous profit share and possible equity after two years
Own transport required

Travel requirement
Occasional, between JHB, CT & KZN
