Development of cost effective and competitive Music Programming Longform programming and presentation strategies
Development of cost effective and successful Music Programming Longform and presentation strategies for Afrian terrestrial blocks
creation of competitive monthly schedules
prepare monthly macro schedules
source content and liaise with European programmers, identify gaps in content pipeline
prepare monthly macro schedules, determine promotional priorities, chair weekly meetings, attend all relevant forums to keep abreast of upcoming news and events
develop and own successfull programming strategy liaise at senior level
Commission research as and when required
develop sponsorship opportunities
Skills Required
3 years in similar role
five years experience in creating tv schedules
good intuition about audience tastes
understanding of satellite,cable and terrestrial television markets
good knowledge of international and local broadcast regulations and standards
Excellent people supervisory, leadership and communication skills
excellent understanding of language and mothodology of qualitative and quantitative performance data.
