| Core Description • Responsible for briefing every job that comes into the agency through to the necessary departments and ensuring timeous delivery on each. RESPONSIBILITIES • Opening job bags and loading onto the system • Co-ordinating the necessary designers, studio, creative/art directors • Liaising with production • Organising necessary freelancers if required • Co-ordinate weekly status meetings • Keep a close eye on timing and deadlines to ensure the job is on track • Chasing cost estimates, samples and pulls of jobs • Organising the necessary photographers and photo shoots SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM • A good understanding of print and repro • A thorough understanding of the creative process involved • Good interpersonal skills to deal with various personalities within the agency • A good motivator and ability to get good work out of the creative team • Good attention to detail • Good co-ordinating skills • Ability to work under pressure • Basic computer knowledge of various in-house packages • An ability to put the necessary systems and procedures in place KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM • A good understanding of print and repro • Basic computer knowledge of internal computer packages • An understanding of the advertising and creative process • An understanding of the client’s business PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES • Ability to work with under immense pressure • Good Attention to detail • Good co-ordinating skills • Accuracy • Responsible • Reliable • Co-operative attitude • Credible • Willingness to learn, accept instructions, correction and supervision • Willingness to train and develop more junior colleagues • Ability to establish rapport with clients, client service, production, creatives and suppliers • Flexibility • Proactive • Initiative or self-standing • Integrity |
