Description
• To analyse, recommend, propose and develop ways to consistently improve the informational content, designs and usability offered through the company’s website within established policies, processes and guidelines.
• To conceptualise creative concepts, prepare final artwork and implement design on the company website.
• To maintain and improve usability and accessibility of online content through clear and effective communication.
• To work in conjunction with the business analysts in completing project documentation, developing a feasible and effective solution.
• To deliver outputs in line with the business requirements by interpreting brief requirements and formulating content/design accordingly.
• To liaise with internal and external customers to manage expectations of deadlines and brief requirements.
• To co-ordinate various project deliverables and resources as per business and brief requirements.
Skills Required
• Grade 12 (Essential)
• Recognised 2 year tertiary qualification in Multimedia Design/Graphic Design or similar (Essential).
• 5 Years experience in Web design (Essential) with experience in Graphic Design (Desirable) OR, Without Education, 8 years experience in Web design (Essential) with experience in Graphic Design (Desirable)
• Digital design skills; Communication skills; Research skills, Brief interpretation skills; Design implementation skills; Computer skills to include: Photoshop CS, Adobe Dreamweaver or similar, Hand-coded HTML , Adobe Flash CS, Adobe Fireworks CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, Microsoft Office (Frontpage/Powerpoint/Word)
• Knowledge of creative process; Extensive Knowledge of digital media; Extensive Knowledge of Web design implementation processes, Extensive Knowledge of Graphic design principles, Extensive Knowledge of Web design principles.
